Ruins of the Treadwell Mine site on Douglas Island, now possible to see on a zipline tour from Juneau. None of these do justice to the spectacular ravines and forest around the ruins, or the joy of flying over them all at 50mph. If you ever go to Juneau, check it out at Spirit of Alaska Tours.
